Changes / Fixes

This release introduces new features, improvements and bug fixes.

If you find any problems, pease report report them by either raising an issue or visiting the Discord discussion thread. Note: you will need to join the Altfuture Discord server. Be sure to include both the host and client player.log files in your report. You can also use the game's built in bug report feature and upload the bug report zips.

New Features

• All players can now use 'Work Trains' in Career mode and 'Spawner' in Sandbox mode
  Note: Only one of each Work Train can exist in the world at once; work trains in use can not be summoned
• Demonstrators are now fully supported and can be restored by any player
• All clients will start with a shovel, lighter, oiler, lantern, flashlight, 1 hanger and 1 roll of duct tape.
  This is a stop-gap and will be replaced once inventory sync is complete
• Added the ability to stop received chat messages from showing on the UI (messages can still be seen by opening the chat pane, default key is return/enter)
• Added the ability to hide the player stats list when in Alt / Mouse Mode
• Location of the player stats list can now be selected in the settings, options are: top left, top centre, top right
• Players can now be added to crews via a chat command or API
  Crews are a designation only, and have no effect on game play; this feature is experimental and subject to change

Improvements / bug fixes

• Fixed Multiunit controls playing up
• Fixed loco controls jumping and not working correctly with more than one player in the cab
• Fixed an issue where coupling with the UI (either train controls UI or freecam UI) can break coupling sync
• Fixed several null reference issues related to brake hoses and manual service
• Removed the need to sync netIds for Stations
• Added sync for GenericSwitches (e.g. lights at Museum)

• Environmental damage (fire, radiation, spills) sync
• Full Item sync

Known Bugs

• Shop, world items, inventory for players other than the host not yet synced - job overviews, booklets and reports are partially sync'd.
• Many other minor bugs and inconveniences, which we'll work through as we tick off the bigger issues.
• When a job is completed and the Job Booklet is turned in by a client, cash only spawns on the host's game - this is expected to be fixed with Item Sync.
