My coworker told me to uninstall this extension because it is extremly bad for SEO, is it true?

My SEO coworker told me that adding version tags to the URL is extremly bad for SEO and I need to uninstall the extension immediately.

I noticed that you can still load the original image also without the version tag, so it should be fine.

Why is it bad for SEO? Is she right?

Thanks @Eddcapone I don't believe this was a particular issue, as you say the original image URL is still accessible directly. Unfortunately this repo is no longer actively maintaned and will be archived going forward.
