Dimensional Threading and Async conceptually perform the same function, albeit with different approaches, and are inherently incompatible with each other. The fix for this would be to remove Dimensional Threading.

I'm guessing this applies to Worldthreader as well? Also, what function are you referring to between DT and Async? Do you mean making work asynchronous from the main thread?

If they are inherently incompatible, then it should be added as a strict incompatibility and maybe updating the title of this issue to mention Worldthreader as well.

@GGoose yes it would apply to Worldthreader as well, and yes I am referring to the underlying concept being incompatible. If you read the posted logs you can see the explicit mixin conflict crash.

I'll add this specific mod as an incompatibility the next time I sit down with Async, though in my opinion its mostly for fluff since it'll be a chore to keep up with the various id's of forks that pop up for different mods, modloaders, and game versions for anything that parallelizes entity ticking. Also, Worldthreader seems to have a minimum version of 1.21.4, so its outside my purview.

I am all for clarity, but I expect someone making a modpack to be able to deduce that "multithreading my multithreading" is not going to work. If it wasn't practically guaranteed that mixin's would conflict at startup, I'd be more concerned.

Sorry, I meant to say it should be added as an explicit incompatibility to the mod incompatibility list on the Modrinth page, not necessarily as a detection in Async.
