UltimateAuth is a community-first, open-source project built on collaboration, curiosity, and mutual respect.
We believe great software is created when people with different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives feel welcome to contribute.
Our goal is to maintain a friendly, inclusive, and professional community where everyone can share ideas, ask questions, learn, and contribute with confidence.
Every contribution matters, and every contributor deserves respect.
We encourage all community members to:
- Treat others with kindness, patience, and respect.
- Welcome newcomers and help them get involved.
- Be open to different ideas, experiences, and technical approaches.
- Provide constructive feedback focused on ideas and code rather than individuals.
- Assume good intentions while remaining open to clarification.
- Respect others' time, effort, and contributions.
- Accept feedback gracefully and acknowledge mistakes when they happen.
- Help maintain a productive and collaborative environment.
Technical disagreement is natural and encouraged. Challenging an idea, questioning an implementation, or proposing an alternative is not a violation of this Code of Conduct.
We value respectful disagreement over artificial consensus.
The following behaviors are not acceptable:
- Harassment, intimidation, threats, or personal attacks.
- Discriminatory or hateful language directed at individuals or groups.
- Repeatedly targeting, insulting, or humiliating other contributors.
- Publishing someone's private information without their permission.
- Deliberate disruption of discussions, reviews, or community activities.
- Sexual harassment or other inappropriate unwanted attention.
- Retaliation against anyone who reports a concern in good faith.
Disagreement, criticism, and technical debate are welcome when expressed respectfully.
This Code of Conduct applies to official UltimateAuth community spaces, including:
- GitHub repositories, issues, pull requests, and discussions.
- Official Discord channels.
- Project documentation and community collaboration spaces.
- Events or communications where individuals officially represent UltimateAuth.
It also applies to behavior outside these spaces when that behavior directly and substantially affects the safety or participation of the UltimateAuth community.
If you experience or witness behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please contact a project maintainer privately.
You may reach maintainers through the UltimateAuth Discord community by direct message.
Please avoid sharing sensitive personal information or private reports in public channels.
Reports will be reviewed with care, fairness, and appropriate discretion. Maintainers may request additional information before taking action.
Reports concerning a maintainer should be directed to another available maintainer when possible.
Security vulnerabilities should be reported separately according to SECURITY.md.
Maintainers are responsible for helping maintain a respectful and productive community.
Depending on the circumstances, appropriate responses may include:
- A private reminder or clarification.
- A request to modify or remove inappropriate content.
- A warning or temporary restriction.
- Removal from community spaces in serious or repeated cases.
Responses should be proportionate to the behavior, its impact, and the surrounding circumstances.
Maintainers should aim for consistent and fair decisions rather than automatic punishment.
UltimateAuth exists because we believe open-source software becomes better through shared knowledge and collaboration.
We want contributors to feel comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, proposing improvements, and learning from each other.
Be respectful. Stay curious. Build together.
This Code of Conduct is maintained by the UltimateAuth project maintainers and may evolve as the community grows.
