[Feature request] Continued Support for Android 5.0

Feature Description

The most recent update (5.2.0) seems to not be compatible with Android 5.0

Hope this isn't asking for too much, but continued support for Android 5.0 would be very much appreciated if possible (i'm not very familiar with coding so i'm sorry if this just doesn't make sense)

Even just a barebones version with just YouTube would do, since the official app doesn't support Android 5.0 anymore and most other alternatives are dropping support as well as of late, and the browser version of YouTube is intentionally made to be a bad experience. It would be nice to still have an alternative that works well for older devices.

Again, i'm sorry if this is asking for too much, I know this is an independent project and YouTube keeps making it harder to keep the app functional as is. i already fully appreciate all that the Devs have done for older devices so far even if the support is getting dropped from here on out. <3

Thanks for your suggestion but since the core Android libraries don't support Android 5 anymore we have to drop the support.
