Hi, I'm Sherief Farouk, the Team Lead for NVIDIA PAIR.
Thank you so much for the amazing feedback and contributions over the past couple of weeks - we have been internally working on triaging the reported issues, and going over PRs trying to approve and integrate as many as we can especially bug fixes and wider platform support.
The transition from an internal product to public release had some lead time, and we've been working behind the scenes to unify our development workflow and move to a fully-open development lifecycle. We have completed this transition today with PR #100 and we expect the cadence on merging PRs to increase significantly over the coming two weeks, and moving forward we expect a lower turnaround time on submitted PRs. The default branch is now "develop", which new PRs should be written against, and the "main" branch remains our latest stable release.
We are also working on features and improvements behind the scenes to many of the issues you reported especially surrounding engine management and scheduling, and for the latter I would greatly appreciate feedback on situations where you saw suboptimal scheduling decisions and how you ideally would have liked the scheduler to respond. With the above transition complete you will see more of this work happen in the open and have the opportunity to get involved during the design and development phases.
Thank you again for the incredible reception, and thank you for taking the time to try out NVIDIA PAIR.
