From c6f8f536ef88f9325d7d850caeb39856816a74b1 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: claude-code Date: Thu, 22 Oct 2026 12:12:22 +0200 Subject: [PATCH] fix(docs): put an inline code span on one line so the docs site builds again The docs-site build has failed on every run since 2026-07-24 with "MDX compilation failed for file docs/specs/review-json-recovery.md ... Could not parse expression with acorn". An inline code span wrapped across a line break, so the compiler read the `{ ... }` inside it as a JavaScript expression. With no successful build, the published site has been stuck on the 2026-07-23 content. Joining the span onto one line fixes it; a confined local `docusaurus build` now succeeds and the built pages include the one-line install. A reasoning-capable model rarely complies exactly: it returns a paragraph of analysis before the object, wraps the object in a -` ```json ` fence, or adds trailing commentary. That analysis usually contains its own braces (`def f() -{ ... }`, `{x: 1}`), so the previous "strip fences, else slice from the first `{` to the last `}`" +` ```json ` fence, or adds trailing commentary. That analysis usually contains its own braces (`def f() { ... }`, `{x: 1}`), so the previous "strip fences, else slice from the first `{` to the last `}`" recovery captured a span that was not valid JSON. The adapter then treated a perfectly good review as unparseable, retried, and finally fell back to a `live` placeholder: "The review runtime returned invalid output; a human should review manually." The agent had reviewed; its verdict was thrown away.
