Docs section on pros/cons of using Opire is inaccurateย #37

Description

@KnorpelSenf

๐Ÿ•ต๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Current Behavior

The current docs at https://docs.opire.dev/overview/introduction#benefits-for-open-source-maintainers mention as the first point โ€œYou lose nothingโ€ but that has recently become inaccurate.

๐Ÿ”ฎ Expected Behavior

Instead, they should mention the honest trade-offs. By having an issue registered on Opire, you expose your project to a constant flood of AI spam. Every few days or hours, a bot comments a generic "claiming this bounty" and then attempts to "solve" the problem. So the main issue with Opire is that you trade your free time developing software for moderating spam. Not a 1:1 trade, but definitely worth mentioning.

This issue is probably not going to be solved too soon, so the right approach would be to document this explicitly.

๐Ÿ”ข Steps To Reproduce

  1. Open an issue, and make sure to stay subscribed
  2. Register a bounty on the issue
  3. Watch your notifications flood

๐Ÿ™Œ And when they open the PR, they can comment /claim #37 either in the PR description or in a PR's comment.

๐Ÿช™ Also, everyone can tip any user commenting /tip 20 @KnorpelSenf (replace 20 with the amount, and @KnorpelSenf with the user to tip).
