+The M-Ecosystem devroom brings the MySQL, MariaDB, and Percona communities together in one room at [FOSDEM 2027](/resources/events/2027-01-30-fosdem/) in Brussels, on **Sunday, January 31, 2027**. It succeeds the "MariaDB, MySQL & Friends" devroom and is co-organized by MySQL, MariaDB, Percona, VillageSQL, and OurSQL Foundation.

+The devroom covers database servers as well as the storage engines, connectors, proxies, and tools built around them: query optimization, replication and high availability, InnoDB and other storage engines, performance tuning, upgrades at scale, backup, and observability. Talks are about 20 minutes, in English, and about open source work.
