Multiple PRs - Here to help merging

Hey, just writing here since I've been working on my fork and made multiple PRs that could benefit the shared code. @DamianSuess I was wondering if you were considering to merge them or if you'd like to run tests on your side ? The code is now quite stable on my devices and I don't expect to do additional changes soon.

I know reviewing PRs is sometimes not the most fun activity, so just letting you know I'm available if you have questions on some/all of them. Don't hesitate to leave comments here or on specific PRs if you need me for something. Feel free to close this discussion if it's redundant.

Hi @Kinchul, thank you for reaching out. This project did have an unfortunate delay as getting to testing scenarios and stability takes time. Good news, back on track!

Thanks for the heads up on the account change. Yes, like many, anytime I see a new account out of the blue it does raise an eyebrow. Your follow-up PR do show there is good merit.

I merged in your first PR #75 , which does cause conflicts with the follow-up PRs.
