Pivot grid options

Hi guys,

coming from an Excel background, I like the native pivot grid experience and the way it pulls me into the debugger. What can I say, old habits rigth ;-) 2 questions:

Filters

Is there a way to see what filters are applied? Currently I just see the fields, and, if filtered, they show a filter icon next to them. But what is filtered exactly is not visible unless I'm missing something. I draw the parallel to the 'preview data' screen, where any filter is being expressed at the footer of the preview screen.

Duplicate

Is there a way to duplicate a pivot grid tab into a second pivot grid tab? That would help not having to rebuild it from scratch when I like a second pivot with somewhat of the same building blocks.

Thanks for the feedback, and glad the pivot grid feels familiar coming from Excel!

##Filters
There's currently no summary of the active filters. The component we use for Pivot Grids does not have this built in, so we'd need to build a filter summary ourselves. We agree it would be useful, and we've added it to our backlog. For now, a funnel icon on a field header means that the field is filtered, and you can click it to see the selected values.

##Duplicate
While you can't duplicate directly, you can get the same result by saving the layout:

1. With the pivot grid active, use File > Save As to save it as a .te3pivot file.
2. Use File > Open to open that file again in a new tab, then change the copy as you like.

A saved layout keeps the fields, their positions, filters, sorting, and conditional formatting. You can also reuse it across sessions as a starting template.
A proper "Duplicate" option in the tab's right-click menu would be relatively easy for us to add, so we've added it to the backlog as well.

Thx. I did figure out the "safe as" path myself indeed and I'm looking forward to see this feature make the product.
