    # Pin the major so a breaking upgrade fails at install rather than
    # at runtime. The contract test in
    # ``tests/conformance/signing/test_ip_pinned_transport_contract.py``
    # guards the specific API shapes we rely on. Floor at 1.0.9: earlier 1.0.x
    # releases require h11<0.15, and httpcore2 (below) requires h11>=0.16.
    "httpcore>=1.0.9,<2.0",
    # The ``mcp`` floor below runs on httpx2, a separate distribution from
    # httpx, so every install already has both generations. The IP-pinned
    # transports ship for both (``adcp.signing.IpPinnedTransport2`` and its
    # async twin), which means we import httpx2 and httpcore2 directly
    # instead of inheriting them transitively — same reasoning as httpcore

    # in ``err[\"loc\"]``). Pydantic 3 has no API guarantee on these
    # internals; bump only after porting the narrowing heuristics.
    # SkipJsonSchema is unavailable in 2.0, and MCP 2 already requires 2.12.
    # All installable 2.12 releases fail public type imports while resolving
    # generated __pydantic_extra__ annotations (NameError: Dict). 2.13.0 is the first

    # 2.14 breaks nested subclass serializers and deferred models under Freezegun.

    # decorator (``@validate_proto_required_fields``) blows up with
    # ``'_upb._message.FieldDescriptor' object has no attribute 'label'``.
    # Lower bound: 1.0.1 reads ``field.is_repeated`` on the same descriptor,
    # which protobuf 5.x and 6.30.x don't expose — same decorator, mirror
