add integration test for Kafka 4.x

Currently the Kafka integration tests are only covering 3.1.0 version end-to-end, and we recently found that there might be a few differences with 4.0.0 that was released in march 2025. Adding those tests would likely require a bit of effort as found while working on #4136 .
