source/cjs-common-platform/onboarding/03-get-approved.html.md.erb tells a reader that access provisioning is automatic, then withdraws it in a footnote:
This should automatically trigger a run of an ADO pipeline to provision your access.*
* Automatic trigger is still work in progress, in the meantime the pipeline will be run for you by member of Platform Operations team
The footnote carries no date, so a reader cannot tell whether it describes today or the position when the page was written (December 2025). It is also the one thing on the page that changes what someone actually has to do — wait for automation, or chase PlatOps.
What is needed
Someone in Platform Operations to say whether the automatic trigger is now live:
- If it is — delete the footnote and the asterisk.
- If it is not — keep it, but date it, so the next reader knows how old the caveat is.
Why this is blocking a review
#599 proposed moving this page's last_reviewed_on forward. A review that stamps the page while leaving an undated caveat about the main step is not much of a review, and this is the only substantive question on the page — so it wants answering first. #599 has been closed pointing here.
