Option to allow multiple selected values on single filter

Thanks for this wonderful plugin.

This is sort of a feature request/ idea.

For the filter, having the option to allow a filter to have multiple selected values, would be a great addition.

Some options could include showing hierarchy if it is a term, or display as checkboxes.

On the Taxonomy Filter block (and the Post Type Filter), in the block sidebar:

• Display Type — Select (Dropdown), Radio (Single Choice), or Checkbox (Multiple Choice) for multi-select
• Layout Direction — vertical or horizontal, once Display Type is Radio or Checkbox

Or directly in a template via the displayType / layoutDirection attributes:

Selected terms are joined into one query var as a comma-separated slug list (?query-12-category=news,features) and expanded into a tax_query with 'operator' => 'IN' — so multiple terms within one taxonomy are OR'd, while separate filter blocks on the same loop are AND'd. Also worth knowing about, from the same work: maxVisibleTerms + showAllLabel collapse long term lists behind a "See all" toggle, and includeTerms / excludeTerms curate which terms appear.

Leaving this open for the remaining part of the original request — showing term hierarchy in the filter (indented parent/child rather than a flat list), which isn't implemented. #10 covers the related case of listing only the children of a given parent term.
