I was recently approached by a Mastodon user who had created an account on mastodon.social, but couldn't remember what email address they used to sign up, thus couldn't sign into their account on the web.
However, they were still logged into the Android app, but this didn't help either, as the app doesn't show the account email address anywhere. It'd be useful for such cases to display it somewhere in the UI.
