The short version is: a Code App can talk to Snowflake, but I would not connect to Snowflake directly from the React app. The repository examples are browser-side apps using connectors/custom APIs, and I could not find a native Snowflake connector in the project itself. The usual safe shape is: The backend owns the Snowflake account, warehouse, role, and credentials. The Code App calls your API for the specific CRUD operations it needs. That keeps Snowflake secrets out of the bundle and lets you enforce authorization, input validation, row-level rules, and query limits in one place. If your tenant already has an approved Power Platform connector or custom connector for Snowflake, that can be the middle layer too. Otherwise, a small API is the safer starting point. I would avoid putting a Snowflake password, long-lived token, or unrestricted SQL endpoint in the client-side code. So yes, CRUD is possible, but the missing piece is the secured backend/connector rather than a special React-side database call. The exact implementation depends on whether you want to use an existing Power Platform connector, a custom connector, or an Azure-hosted API. |
Uh oh!

Can we connect our code app to Snowflake and execute CRUD requests?
There is any documentation to take a look?
