undefined reference to `std::__throw_bad_array_new_length()'

I have some code, which uses the cpp! Macro. Trying to compile it, I get the following error messages during the linking:

Just running cargo check' does not show any errors or warnings, but when trying to cargo build` it, the linking fails. Any idea on what may be causing this?
