Hi,
I am a python newbie and I wasn't able to load your source into my program.
Could you please add a paragraph into the read-me file on how to import it?

I would simply put it into the same directory, but then it the git repos would collide?!

solved it myself. still please add a usage section to your readme.

Thank you for the proposal for improvement. Importing in Python is often a hassle, depending on your Path variable and folder structure. I stumbled over that several times... there are really lots of questions about that on stackoverflow. As the MPD Client is explained in the docu of 'vanilla' python-mpd2 and the code here has only ~ 90 lines of code I think this does not need to be answered here.

By the way, your example only works if you have cloned PersistentMPDClient into home (`~/'). If you copy it directly next to your code you can just do the import (line4) and instantiate the class (last line) without touching the path variable.

Yeah, my code was wrong.
I had linked the file from external folder... with that the first three lines of the above code are useless. o.O

I don't understand why not giving a hint on importing is related to MPDclient already being documented?

It is a general thing. You always have to import things before you want to use them (despite some python builtin methods). I.e. if you want to use the method time() you need to do import time. It's the same for the persistentMPDClient. The easiest thing is to have all special libraries in your project/root folder, then importing is easier.
