Goal: Inventory and explain every current Clippy allow attribute in an issue-local clippy-allow-inventory.md, remove unjustified suppressions, and create approved follow-up work for justified temporary ones.
Scope:
- Account for every item and crate attribute in maintained Rust source.
- Record lint, source location, scope, rationale category, evidence, owner, and disposition.
- Update ClippyFixer to declare the edit tool so it can remediate focused findings while Committer retains signed-commit ownership.
- Draft, obtain approval for, and then create a follow-up issue for every temporary suppression.
Boundary: The inventory is a human audit record, not the stable machine-readable baseline for prospective enforcement.
Verification: Run linter all, the inventory completeness check, and relevant package tests; sample every disposition and the approved-follow-up workflow.
