A one-click Phantom Job switcher for Occult Crescent, as an FFXIVMinion Lua module.
All 24 Phantom Jobs sit in a grid of sprite icons. Click one to swap — no menus. Your current job is highlighted, jobs you haven't unlocked yet are greyed out and unclickable, and hovering an icon plays its little two-frame animation.
The module lives in the LuaMods folder next to your MINION executable.

Download this repo from the Releases section
-
Place the whole
PhantomSwapfolder intoLuaModsso you end up with:<MINION install folder>\LuaMods\PhantomSwap\ PhantomSwap.lua module.def img\The folder must be named
PhantomSwap— the module builds its icon paths from that exact name, so renaming it leaves you with a grid of?buttons. -
Restart MINION (or reload the modules) and log in.
-
Open the window from the FFXIVMinion menu → Phantom Swap.
Adjust the path to wherever MINION is actually installed.
Click an icon to switch to that job. The swap is retried up to 5 times, half a second apart, and every attempt is logged to the console — so if it doesn't take, you'll see why.
The cog button in the window's top-left opens Settings:
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Transparent window | Drops the background, border, and title bar, leaving just the icons floating on screen |
| Lock window | Disables moving and resizing, so you can't nudge it mid-fight |
| Scale icons to window | Icons resize to fill the window width instead of staying at native 80×116 |
| Auto show/hide in Occult Crescent | Opens the window when you zone into Occult Crescent, closes it when you leave |
| Rows | How many rows to lay the 24 icons out in — 3 is the default look, 1 puts them all on a single strip |
Settings are saved to LuaMods\PhantomSwap\settings.lua as soon as you change them.
- Job switching only works inside Occult Crescent. Outside it, the window still opens but the grid has nothing to act on.
- The duty API this module calls will hard-crash the game if it's touched outside the duty, so calls are gated behind a map check, a game-state check, an active-duty check, and a 2-second grace period after all of those go green. That's why the highlight can take a moment to appear right after you zone in.
Job icons are ripped from the game's Phantom Job UI.
