Summary

Renovate PRs (for example #85) passed CI but didn't merge. Two things blocked them: the main ruleset requires an approving review, and the repo has GitHub's native auto-merge turned off.

  • The Renovate app (id 2740) is now a bypass actor on the main ruleset in pull request mode, so the bypass applies only when Renovate merges a PR. This was changed in the ruleset settings, not in this PR.
  • This PR sets platformAutomerge: false so Renovate merges the PR itself and doesn't hand off to GitHub's auto-merge. Renovate waits for every check to pass before merging, not just the one required check, and then merges using its bypass.

Pull requests from people still need a review.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

GitHub native auto-merge is disabled for this repo and would only wait on
required checks. Let Renovate merge itself after every check is green,
using its ruleset bypass for the review requirement.
