The two-stage node labels engineered reactor staging as NICHE_PARTITIONING and omits the pH change from 6 to 5 as well as covarying gas flow/residence time. The 800-mbar batch hexanol comparison is condition-specific, not a universal monoculture inability. The hexanoate metabolite is grounded to protonated hexanoic acid (CHEBI:30776), not hexanoate (CHEBI:17120).

Bound batch comparisons, describe combined reactor conditions without attributing the entire effect to CO alone, distinguish growth from ongoing chain elongation, and correct the C6 anion grounding using ChEBI. Add a focused mechanistic gap, append-only history, tests and regenerated page. No new nodes/arrows.

The cascade abstract says complete inhibition at 100 mbar, whereas Results report an 86% biomass reduction there and total inhibition at 800 mbar. Preserve that source discrepancy explicitly instead of importing the abstract number uncritically.
