CWV2/D345 graph: do not infer lower vinyl chloride from faster TCE disappearance #1390
BC600 amendment affects both TCE transformation and VC accumulation, but the graph incorrectly makes faster TCE degradation cause lower VC. Primary PMID:41442978 and the author-uploaded uncorrected proof distinguish inoculum conditions: biochar can increase VC when an unamended control remains at TCE, while a separate high-inoculum experiment lowers peak VC. Remove this outcome-to-outcome arrow without fabricating a replacement.
Retain five nodes and two positive amendment/support arrows, qualify colonization versus sorption attribution as PARTIAL, and distinguish adsorption from biological degradation. Relative-abundance shifts do not demonstrate hydrogen/electron flux, DIET, selective guild necessity or long-term field stability; qualify the guild mechanism and remove the unsupported SYNTROPHY label. Full final published body, figure images and supplements were not accessed.
Deduplication: 717 all-state issue titles/bodies, broader organism/biochar/acetylene/CO synonyms and ignored/hidden-inclusive scoped local review/history/research/tests/scripts. Relevant #1305, #1245, #1236, #900, #883, #765, #754, #561, #389, #384 and #383 were read; no duplicate exact graph defect in the searched material. Not all issue comments were searched.
Existing graph defect addressed in #1393 at e62e9da; exact-head self-adversarial COMMENT #1393 (review). 354 passed in 182.27s (0:03:02); actual post-commit docs-current passed. Committed decisions/validation retain source limits. CO #1392 and metadata #765/#1391 remain open. This issue closes only after protected main merge.
