S. wolfei/Dhc195 research: assess carbon-monoxide scavenging before extending the causal graph #1392
Dehalococcoides_Syntrophomonas_TCE_Dechlorination_Coculture.yaml (000183) has a candidate mechanism not represented as a node/arrow.
PMID:25576615 reports CO consumption in S. wolfei assays and low CO in coculture relative to strain 195 in isolation. The authors propose supplementary energy and toxicity relief as possible contributions. This is not a selective CO-removal/rescue experiment in the exact pair. Assess whether a new node and qualified arrow are justified, using primary sources and keeping observations separate from causal inference.
The skill-required one-community Edison dry run prepared an 11,572-character prompt (SHA256 40cfa051650b6f7062774e8dddcd740db72e3f5415817324f4676c3de22b9e26); no provider job or charge yet. Actual submission requires specific spend/transmission authorization. Keep this issue and the record-level needs_research status open after repairing existing graph labels; Edison output alone is not evidence.
Deduplication: 717 all-state issue titles/bodies, broader organism/biochar/acetylene/CO synonyms and ignored/hidden-inclusive scoped local review/history/research/tests/scripts. Relevant #1305, #1245, #1236, #900, #883, #765, #754, #561, #389, #384 and #383 were read; no duplicate exact graph defect in the searched material. Not all issue comments were searched.
Existing graph repairs published in #1393. This new-structure research issue remains OPEN and the Syntrophomonas record remains needs_research. Edison dry run only, no provider job or charge; source-based causal assessment is still required.
