East River hillslope graph: qualify environmental mechanisms and selenate reduction potential #1419
Retain three existing environmental-filtering arrows only as HYPOTHESIZED mechanisms supported by spatial association. DNA gene abundances, not RNA or flux assays, underpin functional potential. Remove categorical niche partitioning and unsupported CPR interspecies-process annotation: non-CPR candidate phyla increase with depth, CPR occur near/under the riparian water table with two deep hillslope exceptions, and host dependency is a literature-based hypothesis with unknown hosts. SrdA enrichment concerns selenate reduction potential, not measured selenium removal or demonstrated water-quality improvement; chemistry is missing where deep srdA abundance peaks. Preserve compartment preferred terms despite shared cellular-organisms ID.
Deduplication: 742 all-state issue titles/bodies and ignored/hidden-inclusive local review, research, history, tests, scripts and workflow files. Relevant #401, #573, #594 and #595 read; no exact duplicate in that scope. Not every issue comment searched. Source review used cached primary main-body text; no visual figures, raw-data analysis or external supplement review.
Existing graph defect addressed in #1423 at 54ce25c. Exact-head self-adversarial COMMENT: #1423 (review). 384 passed in 164.84s (0:02:44); actual post-commit docs-current passed. Close only after protected main merge. Non-graph #1420/#1421/#1422 remain open; two exposed floodplain connectivity warnings are disclosed.
