Remove Nitrogen-Status EcoFAB Root Exudation from this graph: that separate study used sterile plants and individual bacterial bioassays, not SynCom17 co-inoculation. Retain the three whole-treatment outcome arrows. The OAS925 trait-to-dominance arrow is HYPOTHESIZED: separate isolate motility/biofilm/root-colonization assays and genomic annotations do not isolate a dominance mechanism. The dominance-to-metabolome arrow is unsupported mediation: bulk profiles allow root/microbial production, uptake and extracellular enzyme activity. Remove that arrow, categorical competition, facilitation and cross-feeding annotations, and unsupported symbiotic-process terms. Preserve directly measured outcomes and canonical participants, representing the OAS925 trait node as source-only PAIRWISE, not a self-edge. No new nodes or arrows needed.
