Review all five existing nodes and five arrows. Whole primary preprint main text was read from its public ResearchGate mirror; the canonical Research Square page returned 403. Treat sequential HRT changes and endpoint compartment differences cautiously. Computed pathway predictions cannot themselves cause acetate output; compartment composition used to predict pathways is not independent evidence for a causal arrow. Bulk IC loss and acetate are not an isotope-resolved mediation chain. Remove those three arrows; qualify HRT-to-composition and proposed architecture-to-IC removal. Remove categorical SYNTROPHY/CROSS_FEEDING and unsupported process annotations, and name only the three canonical representative taxa without implying a complete roster or necessity. Preserve observations, not stronger causal wording inherited from the source. No new graph structure.
