Homology-assigned FOS genes and context-dependent transcript levels do not establish selective gene causality or partner-resolved cross-feeding. GC-MS is qualitative, not absolute production or flux; glucose profiles were similar. Figure 7 labels propionate (peak 2) in minimal-core panel B, not separately in whole-community panel C: remove the whole-community-specific propionate assignment, without inferring physiological absence. Preserve three existing nodes, no invented arrows, all seven canonical strains and #1206's removal of uniform PRIMARY_DEGRADER roles. Name canonical participants and preserve the active-metabolite knowledge gap. Missing host-response structure is a separate expansion issue.
