Fomitopsis graph: qualify mediator identity and keep agar inhibition separate from liquid stress #1460
The existing liquid node name presents glucose competition as proven mediation, while inspected selected primary excerpts support bacterial-addition-associated depletion, reduced fungal biomass and stress-related transcription. No selective glucose rescue is described in those excerpts. The agar node omits the source's putative metabolite identifications and likely acid mediation. A COMPETITION category alone does not distinguish resource competition from observed distal inhibition. Piptamine nondetection is condition-specific; BGC induction is not identification of a secreted active product. Liquid endpoint E. coli counts were not reduced, unlike agar inhibition.
Acceptance: retain two nodes and zero arrows, qualify liquid nutrient-competition mediation as PARTIAL, preserve observed agar inhibition with HYPOTHESIZED acid mediation, remove its unsupported resource-competition category, and state assay boundaries. Do not restore earlier prose-target arrows. This is not a duplicate of closed #1169/#1170/#1171: those fixed missing cached support; the expanded cache now supports those facts, but causal strength and putative identities still need correction. Preserve #1173's removal of the natural-partner comparison. Full PDF returned HTTP 429 and was not read during this review; do not claim missing experiments are absent from the entire paper.
Deduplication: 778 all-state issue titles/bodies plus ignored/hidden-inclusive local reports, research, history and tests searched. All seven matched issue bodies read (#1358/#1356/#1173/#1171/#1170/#1169/#1080); relevant prior curation histories inspected. No exact duplicate within that scope; comments and PR reviews were not exhaustively searched. Source-based self-adversarial review, not independent approval.
Existing-graph defect addressed in #1464 at 12c0771. Exact-head source-based self-adversarial COMMENT: #1464 (review). 431 passed in 170.84s (0:02:50); post-commit docs-current passed. Six nodes retained, one hypothetical arrow retained, one unsupported arrow removed. Close only after protected main merge.
