GENIA evidence follow-up: reconcile reported mass balances and non-graph mechanism claims #1468

The primary body contains conflicting quantitative descriptions that need source/raw-data reconciliation before mechanistic use. The stated 37.1 micromolar PFOS fluorine inventory is approximately 12.0 mg/L, not the alternatively stated 64.08 mg/L. The reported 22.22 mg/L fluoride and 34.69% defluorination therefore cannot be certified on that PFOS-only denominator. Methods also specify a PFOA/PFOS mixture, so do not conclude impossibility for the whole experiment or assume the true denominator without checking data. Atrazine Methods use 200 ng/mL, Nessler's reagent and 64.9 micrograms N/L, whereas Results use 31.825 mg/L, indophenol blue and a stated theoretical 6.54 mg N/L; five nitrogen atoms and the stated molecular mass give approximately 10.33 mg N/L for 31.825 mg/L. Nitrogen release also does not independently prove complete carbon mineralization. These are source inconsistencies, not allegations of misconduct.

Acceptance: inspect primary supplements and raw analytical/mass-balance data or author corrections; reconcile treatment-specific inventories, controls and analytical methods before adopting efficiency or complete-mineralization claims. Bound non-graph description, taxonomy roles and mechanism prose to measured versus predicted findings. Genomic enzyme homology, relative abundance and correlation are not direct member-specific cross-feeding flux. Keep canonical taxonomy and existing dataset/GTDB fixes.
