The genomic-trait node and its arrow transfer surface adhesion and iron-acquisition findings to a Bacteroides/Bifidobacterium endpoint without the necessary taxon scope. The primary paper specifically compares3 E.coli persisters with25 non-persisters for those traits. Within-genus CAZyme enrichment concerns Bifidobacterium/Escherichia, not a generic Bacteroides property.

Retain positive maternal-origin and genomic associations,59/560 early persisters, and the Bacteroides/Bifidobacterium persistence result. Bound proposed maternal reseeding and carbohydrate-use mechanisms as PARTIAL. Distinguish Bacteroides-rich maternal transmission from often-nonmaternal Bifidobacterium persistence.
