Kefir flavor graph: separate procedure, genomic potential and compound-specific interaction statistics #1535
The six-node graph includes strain-prioritization and genome-sequencing procedures, labels genomic annotation as observed cross-feeding, and calls ester production mutualism. The source Results report a yeast main effect but no significant bacterial main effect or strain interaction for ethyl acetate, isobutanol, isoamyl alcohol, isoamyl acetate and ethyl octanoate. Other fatty-acid/aldehyde endpoints do show interaction effects, and both organisms have higher viable counts in coculture. Preserve those positive observations. Genomic capability and Spearman associations do not trace donor-to-recipient transfer. Static milk assays and semiquantitative normalized GC-MS peak areas are not complete kefir sensory profiles.
The abstract says ester synthesis is enhanced, Table3 has somewhat higher coculture means for selected esters, and a later Discussion sentence instead claims yeast-alone levels exceed coculture. Do not resolve this internal inconsistency by inventing significance or selectively quoting the abstract. Record the conflict and exact Results statistics; do not claim uniformly positive or absent interaction for every metabolite.
Acceptance: account for all six original nodes and zero arrows; remove the two workflow nodes, bound the four remaining biological/potential nodes, preserve exact canonical strain identities and the five workflow-arrow removals from Oct02. No new arrow or unsupported mechanism. Add exact OPEN discussion anchors, guarded history, focused tests, generated page and output/review records. If short primary excerpts are appended to the cache, preserve the original exact prefix and record indexed-public-primary provenance rather than claiming a complete full-text cache. Keep this repair OPEN until protected-main merge.
Primary: https://www.journalofdairyscience.org/article/S0022-0302%2826%2902870-5/fulltext. Complete abstract plus publicly indexed Methods and selected Results/Discussion, tables and main captions reviewed. Direct publisher access returned403; no bypass. Indexed body has gaps; no complete-body, original-figure, supplement or raw-data audit is claimed. Separate PMID40969199 is used only for exact-pair identity, not host-mechanism extension.
Dedup:836 all-state issue titles/bodies searched;46 matching ignored/hidden-inclusive local files, excluding generated docs/site and separately inspected reference caches. All six matching issue bodies were read (#1262,#1259,#1240,#936,#401,#310); they concern other kefir records, tooling or previous corpus work, not these exact findings. Not every historical comment/PR or matching local file was read. Self-adversarial review is not independent approval.
Addressed in #1538 at 4aed487; exact-head self-review:#1538 (review). 544 passed in 218.33s (0:03:38); post-commit docs-current passed. Every-node/arrow decisions and actual output digests committed with explicit primary-source limits. Not independent approval. Close only after protected-main merge. Related1536 and1537 remain unresolved.
