Separate MUC2 composition and extracellular metabolite responses from mediation #1568

Closed

Description

@realmarcin

kb/communities/MUC2_Human_Gut_Commensal_Defined_Consortium.yaml, PMID:42007376. Retain both observations and remove the composition-to-metabolite arrow: the two responses accompany the same MUC2 treatment without selective mediation. Six qPCR groups yield calculated CFU equivalents, not direct viable counts or resolution of all fourteen strains. Supernatant concentrations at 72 hours are net endpoints, not production rates, carbon-source tracing or donor-recipient exchange. Preserve lower acetate and higher propionate, butyrate and formate. Keep cross-feeding in hypothesis prose, not a demonstrated interaction type. CAZy percentages summarize species genomes, not measured enzymes in exact inoculants. Preserve the existing qPCR knowledge gap and prior culture-accession corrections. Close only after protected-main merge.

Source-based self-adversarial review, not independent approval. Existing-graph repair only; no new nodes/arrows or paid Edison submission.

Every-node/arrow decisions and actual output digests committed with explicit primary-source limits. Not independent approval. Close only after protected-main merge. Related1569 remains unresolved.
