The Raman phenylalanine shift specifically supports 13C incorporation, not independent 15N assimilation. Retain heterogeneous labeling (~43-46% Terrabacter cells), sampled 2-aminopyrimidine nondetection and positive substrate disappearance. Parent sulfadiazine disappeared faster in Microbacterium alone (day2) than coculture (day4), so intermediate removal is not accelerated parent degradation. Correct upstream causal wording and avoid closed-carbon-balance mineralization or universal cell activity.
