Bound formaldehyde mitigation and conditional methionine exchange #1621

Closed

Description

@realmarcin

Model_Lignocellulose_Formaldehyde_Crossfeeding_Community: full primary PMID33557371/DOI10.3390/microorganisms9020321 shows formaldehyde lowering, but PCA control retains inhibition and detoxification does not fully rescue C.fimi. Preserve growth supported by C.fimi and conditional methionine rescue by selected CM4744 with added methanol/succinate, not wild type or demonstrated autonomous mutualism. Correct direction for the methionine claim. Remove competition-to-engineering workflow arrow; retain formaldehyde production-to-mitigation with bounded recipient benefit.
