Distinguish pepper SynCom5 isolate screens from host protection mechanisms #1688

Description

@realmarcin

CommunityMech:000105, PMID40508300. Replace study-objective evidence with actual results. Preserve individual PGPR screens and T14/A6 antagonism, not strong activity by every member; retain challenged-host growth and visible symptom improvement. Section3.5 explicitly says no direct disease scoring/pathogen-load measurement and no SynCom-only control. Qualify two trait/antagonism-to-growth arrows, remove untested mutualism/colonization/host antifungal GO assignments and IAA attribution on aggregate growth. P.capsici is an oomycete, and the paper notes absence of chitin in its wall. Close only after protected-main merge.

Searched 962 all-state issue titles/bodies and read six matches (#1397, #1394, #1272, #1232, #1217, #1216); local hidden/ignored-inclusive search found 62 files, excluding .git/docs/site/references_cache. Additional exact coaggregation-reference search found no matching issue. Comments not exhaustively searched. Four whole records; primary PES main text/correction, pepper-growth main text and pepper-biocontrol PDF reviewed; syntrophy species paper and coaggregation evidence abstract/caption limited. Self-adversarial review, not independent approval.
