Separate TPA dominance observations from evidence for competitive mechanisms #1739

Open

Description

@realmarcin

CommunityMech:000289; PMID42324694. Preserve all three competition nodes and both directions, including source-reported contact inhibition and relative-kinetics contributions. The first node cites dominance as though that alone demonstrates exploitative competition. Add the primary abstract metabolic-perturbation evidence, distinguish observation from mechanistic support, and bound the relative contribution of the two mechanisms without denying the reported assays. No new resistance-selection details, genetic designs or experimental procedures. Close only after protected-main merge.

Dedup:1006 all-state issue titles/bodies searched by IDs, PMIDs, names and broad substrate/taxon aliases. All nine matching bodies read; none is this graph repair. Explicitly read529/573/605 for general source/panel/membership scope.49 local matching files found with ignored/hidden included; .git/docs/site/references_cache excluded, relevant caches separately inspected. Comments and PRs not exhaustive. Self-adversarial review, not independent approval.
