Do not infer SCDY1 mutualism from Arabidopsis growth promotion #1747

Open

Description

@realmarcin

Record: kb/communities/Quinoa_SCDY1_Salt_Stress_SynCom.yaml (CommunityMech:000459).

P2: The remaining growth-promotion node is typed MUTUALISM although its evidence establishes a host-benefit endpoint, not benefits to both partners. Recoverability of a subset is not reciprocal fitness evidence. Retain the plant-growth outcome and its SUPPORT evidence, remove the categorical type, and document that distinction.

Primary preprint abstract retrieved independently through the official API: https://api.biorxiv.org/details/biorxiv/10.64898/2026.07.15.738596 . The accepted publisher abstract corroborates the endpoint, but its final formatted article is not yet available: https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/plant-science/articles/10.3389/fpls.2026.1934646/abstract . Complete preprint body was not retrieved; lack of access is not proof that controls are absent. The existing selected_full_text cache is not independent primary verification.

Do not restore the recovery/epidermal nodes removed under #1180/#1181, the growth medium removed under #1182, or overwrite historical preprint metadata. This is distinct from those closed findings.

Source-based self-adversarial finding, not independent review. Acceptance: focused schema/strict/term/reference checks, explicit snippet-access limitations, regression tests, history, both-root audit and regenerated pages. Close only after protected-main merge.
