CommunityMech:000292, doi:10.1016/j.indcrop.2025.122518. Preserve reported Cd tolerance, functional complementarity/minimal antagonism and plant-growth-promoting/carbon-fixation capacity. Recast the co-selection node as the observed tolerance phenotype, not an assembly workflow. These traits do not establish spatial/temporal niche partitioning, stable reciprocal fitness benefits or a quantified contribution of bacterial fixation to persistent soil carbon. Keep the previous removal of two screening-order arrows; add no unsupported new topology. The two-sentence committed abstract cache supports existing trait quotations but is not the whole publisher abstract. Preserve source-reported positive plant outcomes as context, without promoting them to a newly invented mechanism.

The MetG2 Introduction and bounded section previews were read, not the full article. Direct publisher requests returned HTTP403; the public Crossref-advertised API links for the two CC-licensed articles returned HTTP400. No access bypass, whole-paper/supplement/figure-pixel certification or raw-data reanalysis.

All four matching issue bodies were read. Fresh all-state title/body dedup and scoped ignored/hidden local searches found no duplicate of this finding; PRs/comments were not exhaustively searched.
