PHB output is not a second pairwise cross-feeding event; alginate encapsulation is an abiotic intervention, not colonization facilitation by another organism. Qualify encapsulation-to-PHB mediation and remove the graph claim that all external organic carbon was excluded, which cannot be established from the available abstract. Preserve the two existing directions without inventing reciprocal services.
