Engineering/environmental/growth fields mix parent16-member pathogen assays with the SSC8 no-added-pathogen growth assay. Related ingredients overstate N-acetyl-serine as a verified specific mediator; the paper calls these cross-feeding candidates. Correct these separate fields without silently substituting all16isolates or inferring stereochemistry from untargeted names. Main-body text was read; supplementary files were not.
