Separate measured carbon transfer and reciprocal benefit from predicted arsenic-coculture routes #1931

Description

Finding

CommunityMech:000454 has valid direct NanoSIMS carbon-transfer and reciprocal-growth evidence that must be retained. The detoxification node should cite the actual cyanobacterial growth benefit, not merely arsenite toxicity in monoculture. Organic-carbon uptake and an oxygen-supplemented pure-culture comparison do not make genomic suggestions for oxygen/nitrogen complementarity equally direct measurements. Keep CROSS_FEEDING and MUTUALISM for the supported outcomes; bound unmeasured chemical identity and route attribution. No new arrow or experimental protocol is required.

Evidence And Limits

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/42468699/

Four whole canonical records reviewed. All four fresh primary abstracts and Crossref identities checked; biomethanation and tobacco complete main-body XML texts read, including methods/results/discussion and captions/table text. Arsenic and compost changes are abstract-bounded: no PMC full text exposed and publisher opens returned403; this is not exhaustive full-text absence. No original figure pixels, separate supplements, raw data or analysis code audited. No publication body import or new optimization protocol. Local searches include hidden/ignored files with credentials excluded; all-state issue titles/bodies checked.
