Finding

The source explicitly warns that direct qPCR/16S analysis can detect DNA from dead or inactivated cells, whereas bacterial colony recovery assesses only the culturable bacterial fraction. Current assembly and taxonomy wording interprets surviving methanogens and group activity more strongly than these assays resolve. Audit those non-graph claims, phylum/class/genus overlap, day69 versus phase4-average abundances, and unqualified CROSS_FEEDER/SYNTROPHIC_PARTNER roles. Preserve measured methane generation, bacterial colony recovery and qPCR counts; do not silently treat DNA as viability or assign the qPCR control species to the reactor.
