Problem

Upstream stores tools/check_pnpm_audit_exceptions.py with CRLF line endings (246 CR in the blob at v0.2.11, v0.2.13 and main). The fork's .gitattributes adds *.py text eol=lf, which upstream does not have. So every checkout of the fork reports that file as modified, with an empty diff once line endings are ignored. A plain git add -A then pulls a 492-line line-ending rewrite into unrelated commits, and rebases refuse to start.

Change

One exception in .gitattributes: tools/check_pnpm_audit_exceptions.py -text. The file's bytes stay identical to upstream; nothing else changes.

Verification

In a fresh worktree of main: before the change, touching the file makes git status report it as modified; after, only .gitattributes is reported.

Upstream stores tools/check_pnpm_audit_exceptions.py with CRLF, while the
fork's '*.py text eol=lf' rule made every checkout report it as modified.
Exempt that one file so its bytes stay identical to upstream and working
trees are clean.
