I'm Hala Naaz, a cybersecurity learner and security-tool builder focused on AI Security, AI Red Teaming, and Security Research. I learn by building practical projects, testing ideas in controlled environments, documenting findings, and exploring how AI applications and agents can fail in unexpected ways.
Through AshlynxCyber, I share my projects, research, and hands-on cybersecurity work.
- LLM Security: prompt injection, adversarial testing, and AI application attack surfaces
- AI Agent Security: tool access, privilege boundaries, intent alignment, and safe agent behaviour
- RAG Security: risks around retrieval pipelines, untrusted content, and data handling
- Security Research: threat modelling, controlled experiments, reproducible findings, and mitigations
- Hands-on Practice: TryHackMe, CTFs, home labs, and security tool development

AI Agent Intent Security Research A research program exploring the gap between actions an AI agent is technically authorized to perform and actions that are appropriate to the user's intent, context, and security policy. Focus: intent alignment, authorization, least privilege, tool calling, and policy enforcement. Research framework and experiment design; empirical conclusions are not yet established. |
Cyber Threat Intelligence & SOC Analytics A security platform for threat-intelligence ingestion, indicator correlation and scoring, MITRE ATT&CK mapping, and analyst workflows. Focus: Python, FastAPI, Next.js, TypeScript, databases, and security integrations. |
|
Explainable Scam Detection & Defense A scam-analysis project combining threat signals with contextual AI analysis to help explain suspicious messages and support safer decisions. Focus: threat analysis, explainability, serverless APIs, and Amazon Bedrock where implemented. |
Persistent Memory for AI Agents An in-development project exploring graph-powered memory and coordination across AI-agent sessions. Focus: Python, FastAPI, FalkorDB, and a Next.js / TypeScript interface. Under active development. |
