The default repository link currently leads to the v1 workflow. Promote the tested v2 development preview so a task plus the ordinary repo URL reaches one compact activation contract, while preserving v1 guidance and historical evidence.

V2 adds proportionate workflow modes, ten focused control modules, policy provenance, and an offline standard-library helper. The latest increment adds session checkpoints/resumption, practical task and team-system mappings, pending-record generation, bounded explicit-file snapshots with current-input comparison, and additive typed evidence requirements. Build evidence cannot satisfy a declared live-evidence gate; supplied policy requirements cannot be removed from the saved record.

Validation: all 97 framework tests passed on Windows/Linux with Python 3.10/3.13, including symbolic-link denial cases. The clean published-source controlled lab passed 63 checks, 94 routing cases, 19 application tests and 68 real HTTP requests. Existing user edits and native guidance were preserved. Repository catalog/examples/local links validate; the activation contract is 1,264 words. Detailed evidence is in docs/exec_ctrl/V2_SESSION_EVOLUTION.md and the hosted run: https://github.com/LeiterConsulting/exec-ctrl/actions/runs/37345950458.

This remains 2.0.0-preview.3. Independent task-plus-link field trials across IDEs and real policy/scanner/connector acceptance remain open. The helper checks bounded declared inputs and evidence structure; host permissions, review systems and CI retain enforcement responsibility. Historical machine records stay pinned to their original helper version.
