• Improve error handling and status responses for invalid subscriptions and non-OK upstream responses, including clearer versioned metadata in the root and /version endpoints.
• Preserve node name emojis while normalizing whitespace to improve readability without stripping user-provided labels.

Documentation:

• Rewrite README with an updated project name, badges, feature overview, deployment instructions, API documentation, and acknowledgments.
