Summary

Complete distribution, installation and repository documentation as stage 3 of 3. Keep root policies authoritative and maintain the operational documentation in paired Fumadocs pages.

Scope

• Package the root Apache license with retained third-party notices; audit source and wheel artifacts, required core modules and private/gated exclusions.
• Keep development, CLI and packaging commands aligned with the unified GPU environment; exclude docs and temporary namespace packages from discovery.
• Complete repository guidance, public documentation links, model-media provenance helpers and paired setup/contribution documentation.
• Maintain documentation setup, generation, directory ownership and deployment settings in the English/Chinese maintainer guide.
• Retire tests for two private workspace scripts absent from upstream and the supported source inventory; retain public packaging, first-run, quickstart and version contracts.

Runtime And Assets

Local validation uses the unified Python 3.11.15 environment, Node 22.22.2, npm and the prepared documentation dependencies. Distribution artifacts and generated evidence remain outside Git. Fresh GPU bootstrap installation requires Linux, an NVIDIA GPU and the documented driver/CUDA environment.

All commits have DCO sign-offs. Gate logs, selection manifests, JUnit and built distributions are retained outside Git.

Known Limitations

• This remains a draft pending stages [refactor]Unify inference contracts and Studio runtime (1/3) #31 and [refactor]Unify evaluation orchestration and CLI (2/3) #29, final integration against upstream main, hosted checks and affected code-owner review.
• A fresh-machine GPU installation and full public/runtime acceptance are not established by local static contracts or distribution builds.
• Documentation and packaging checks do not promote model readiness, benchmark validity or numerical acceptance.

Contribution Requirements

• Distribution changes include matching packaging and documentation contracts.
• Public behavior and English/Chinese maintainer pages are updated.
• Upstream attribution and license records are retained.
• No credentials, checkpoints, caches or generated run evidence are committed.
• Every contribution commit has a DCO sign-off.
• Required hosted checks and affected code-owner approval are complete.

Conflicts with main at 7a9f4069 are resolved in 36a2d6e8.

The branch preserves the documented docs-install path, matching Torch/Torchvision plus MCP dependencies, all evaluation contracts, and the CI/license prerequisite repairs.

Local validation for this candidate:

• Workflow/docs/license/replay declarations: 52 passed.
• make test-evaluation: 247 passed, no skips.
• Complete PR Python quality and DCO: passed.

Known blockers: the current hosted impact plan reports scripts/inference/prepare_model_infer.sh as uncovered; its changed RollingForcing checkpoint preparation needs appropriate replay coverage. Trusted checkpoint evidence and code-owner approval are also outstanding. The PR remains draft; no merge into main has been performed.
