The replicate parameter rep (fireSense_spreadFit.R:193) becomes .rep, a SpaDES-aware parameter like .studyAreaName, so one name serves every module that needs the replicate: PredictiveEcology/fireSense_spreadPredict#24 uses .rep to choose its parameter set, and PredictiveEcology/SpaDES.project#190 makes setupProject() set .globals$.rep from the experiment's .rep, so projects no longer pass it by hand. R/fitSpread.R reads P(sim)$.rep; the DEoptim cache names still use its value, so cached generations are found, while the event cache key changes once. Metadata and contract tests updated; they pass (16).

Like .studyAreaName, a replicate number is framework-aware run metadata;
SpaDES.project's setupProject() sets .globals$.rep from the experiment's
.rep, and fireSense_spreadPredict uses the same name. The DEoptim cache
names use the value, so cached generations are still found.
